«i»Cora Arenson Services Held March 10«/i»
"Funeral services were held for Cora Arenson, 55, of Brooten on March 10 at the Trinity Lutheran Church. She died at the University Hospital in Minneapolis following surgery.
Pastor Glen Rachuy officiated at the services and Mr. Dennis Oslund was soloist, accompanied by Miss Julie Mathiason on the organ. Hoplin funeral home was in charge of the arrangements and burial was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Brooten.
Cora is survived by the following sisters and borthers: Mrs. Menvil Imsdahl, Mrs. Mildred Anderson and Clarence Arenson of Brooten, Mrs. Maurice Baker of Kerkhoven, Mrs. Charles Harrison of VanCouver, Washington, Donald Arenson of Edina, Mrs. James Snyder of White Bear Lake and James Arenson of St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Walter.
She was born March 4, 1914, in Brooten to George and Ida Arenson. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and graduated from high school in 1933.
Relatives and friends attended from Eagle Lake, Mankato, St. Paul, White Bear Lake, Edina, Coon Rapids, Kerkhoven, Benson, Murdock, Glenwood, Walker, Willmar, Belgrade, Buffalo, Ellsworth, Northfield and Decorah, Iowa."
