Clarence Arenson, son of Mrs. Floyd Robinson of Brooten, and Miss Verna Syverson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Syverson of Terrace, were united in marriage on Wednesday of this week at the Lutheran parsonage in Alexandria by Rev. Hanson. The ceremony took place at 9 o'clock a.m.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Arenson of Alexandria, the former a brother of the bridegroom.
The pair will spend the balance of the week in Northern Minnesota after which they will return to Brooten where Mr. Arenson is connected with the Conoco Oil Station.
The bride is a graduate of the Glenwood high school and the Glenwood Normal Training department. She has taught for several years in schools of this neighborhood. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Brooten high school class of 1930. For the past year or more he has been a co-partner in the operation of the Continental Oil Co.'s filling station here.
Mr. and Mrs. Arenson have many friends who will wish them an abundance of good luck and happiness.
