  Published in Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram on Oct. 12, 2005. SOUTH PORTLAND - Wally A. Westwig, 87, of South Portland, passed away Oct. 10, 2005. She was born in Norway on July 6, 1918, the daughter of Edward Rudolph and Karethe Georgina Hille Westwig. She came to the U.S. as a child from Norway, Europe. She graduated from Portland High School and the former Maine School of Commerce. She worked for the Red Cross, the State Mutual Insurance Co. and was office manager at the YMCA. She was a lifelong member of the First Lutheran Church and attended the Tuesday Group. [3]
